Welcome to Acelero Learning in Clark County, Nevada!
At Acelero Learning, we believe that all children can succeed and achieve, and we work to empower families to advocate for their children and themselves. Acelero Learning has a proven track record of producing breakthrough child outcome gains for some of America’s most at-risk children through our unique outcomes-focused approach to providing Head Start services. We currently serve more than 5,000 children and families in our Head Start centers in four states.
Welcome from the Executive Director
Dr. Sipp has been involved with Head Start since he was a child in the JCCEO Head Start program in Birmingham, Alabama, and later as a parent when his own child was in Head Start. He has served in many professional roles within the Head Start community, starting as a teaching assistant and later as a trainer, administrator, and content area expert focused on disabilities and mental health. While working in various Head Start programs, he earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in special education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
Today, in his role as Executive Director at Acelero Learning - Clark County, he leads Nevada's largest provider of Head Start services. Dr. Sipp is an active member of the National Head Start Association, and a board member for both the Nevada Head Start Association and the Region IX Head Start Association. He devotes his time to ministry, to his family, to writing children’s books, to teaching at UNLV, and to working side-by-side with parents in their work to close the achievement gap.
